A repeat client is always an easy client, but they bring higher expectations, making it hugely competitive for us in house to give a new feel to similar concepts and update the place, much like staging. This time, the project was their new independent home, which included a lawn and terrace designated for a gym. The ground floor was intended only for entertaining, which gave us the added advantage of using the guest room as a separate dining room. A Murphy bed concealed in the dining room accommodates their occasional guests. The furniture included pieces we had curated for them previously, along with many other carved elements which doubled as consoles etc., all integrated into a home featuring large windows and very straight structural lines. The decision to incorporate green upholstery beautifully blended the outdoor and indoor spaces.
